(1)Log into 888sport
First, click on “LOGIN” in the upper right-hand corner.
After entering your Username and Password, click “LOGIN” to continue.
(2)Select the game/match that you would like to bet on
In this example, we will show you how to place a bet on an English Premier League soccer game. First, click on “Football” from the list of sports in the upper part of the screen.
From the Football menu, click on “COMPETITIONS” followed by selecting “ENGLAND”. Under ENGLAND select ” England Premier League” to continue.
(3)Select your bet type
One of the easiest to understand bet types is “1X2 Match Betting” (also known as Full Time Result or Money Line). A 1X2 Match Betting bet means you pick which team you think will either win or tie. In our example above, we have three choices by either picking 1 – Home) Leeds United to win, 2 – Away) West Ham to win or X – Draw) Leeds United to tie West Ham. In this example, we will pick Leeds United to win, therefore we will click on the odds 2.25.
※ Note the date and time of the match in the left-hand side of the screen. The date and time are displayed based on the current time zone of your IP address. The only way for the time zone setting to be changed is if you log in to your 888sport account from an IP address in a different time zone.
(4)Enter your bet amount
After clicking the odds that you would like to place a bet on, your bet selection will show under “BETSLIP” located on the right-hand side of the screen.
Once you enter your stake (the amount of money that you would like to bet), the amount of money (stake + profit) that would be returned to you should you win on the bet will be shown automatically under “Return”.
Once you have entered the stake for your bet(s), next click the yellow “PLACE BET” button to finalize your bet(s).
※ Other Bet Options
If you refer to the screenshot below, you will see “All Markets” under the names of the teams. If you click on this link, all available bet types will be shown to you for this particular game.
After clicking on “All Markets” a screen similar to the one shown below will appear.
Examples of other bet options
A “Double Chance” bet means that you can place one bet on two different outcomes such as 1) the home team wins or ties, 2) the away team wins or ties or 3) no tie score, which means either the home team wins or away team wins.
Correct Score
A “Correct Score” bet means that you can place a bet on what you think will be the final score of the game.
Half Time/Full Time
A “Half Time/Full Time” bet, also known as a “1st Half Result/2nd Half Result” bet, means that you can place a bet on what you think will be the correct outcome of the first half and also the final score. Using the Sheffield United – Newcastle United example, if the score at half time is 0-1 and the final score is 2-1, you would need to bet on “Newcastle United/Sheffield United” in order to win the bet.
A “Total Goals” bet, also known as a “Goals Over/Under” bet, which is always set at “Over X.5″ and “Under X.5″, means that you place a bet on the total number of goals that you think will be scored in a game. “Over 2.5” means that 3 goals or more would be a winning bet while “Under 2.5” means that 2 goals or less would be a winning bet.
