(1)Log into Betfred

Betfred

Click the blue “Log In” button in the upper right-hand corner.

After entering your Username and Password, click the “Log in” button to continue.

(2)Select the game/match that you would like to bet on

In this example, we will show you how to place a bet on an English Premier League soccer game. First click on “Sports” in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

After clicking on “Sports”, next select “Football” located on the left-hand side of the screen followed by clicking on “Premier League”.

From the Premier League menu select “Matches” to continue.

(3)Select your bet type

One of the easiest to understand bet types is “1X2 Match Betting” (also known as Full Time Result or Money Line). A 1X2 Match Betting bet means you pick which team you think will either win or tie. In our example above, we have three choices by either picking 1 – Home) Burnley to win, 2 – Away) Sheffield United to win or X – Burnley to tie Sheffield United. In this example, we will pick Burnley to win, therefore we will click on the odds 1.83.

※ Note the date and time of the match above the team names. By default the date and time are displayed as UK time, which would be GMT+1 during March/April to October/November and GMT during October/November to March/April. The time zone display setting cannot be changed.

(4)Enter your bet amount

After clicking the odds that you would like to place a bet on, your bet selection will show under “Betslip” located on the right-hand side of the screen.

Once you enter your stake (the amount of money that you would like to bet), the amount of money (stake + profit) that would be returned to you should you win on the bet will be shown automatically in the “Total Estimated Returns” section.

Once you have entered the stake for your bet(s), next click the “Place bet” button to finalize your bet(s).

※ Other Bet Options

If you refer to the screenshot below, you will see “MORE BETS >” to the right of the game date. If you click on this link, all available bet types will be shown to you for this particular game.

Examples of other bet options

Double Chance

A “Double Chance” bet means that you can place one bet on two different outcomes such as 1) the home team wins or ties, 2) the away team wins or ties or 3) no tie score (“Burnley Or Sheffield United” in the example above), which means either the home team wins or away team wins.

Correct Score

A “Correct Score” bet means that you can place a bet on what you think will be the final score of the game.

Half-Time/Full-Time

A “Half Time/Full Time” bet, also known as a “1st Half Result/2nd Half Result” bet, means that you can place a bet on what you think will be the correct outcome of the first half and also the final score. Using the Burnley – Sheffield United example, if the score at half time is 0-1 and the final score is 2-1, you would need to bet on “Sheffield United/Burnley” in order to win the bet.

Total Goals

A “Total Goals” bet, also known as a “Goals Over/Under” bet, which is always set at “Over X.5″ and “Under X.5″, means that you place a bet on the total number of goals that you think will be scored in a game. “Over 2.5” means that 3 goals or more would be a winning bet while “Under 2.5” means that 2 goals or less would be a winning bet.
