The Milwaukee Brewers were handed a devastating blow when Christian Yelich suffered a fractured right kneecap. Expected to miss the next eight to 10 weeks, his season is done.

But that didn’t stop the Brewers from going on a run. Milwaukee started picking up the Ws, while the Chicago Cubs started taking Ls. Entering the final weekend of the season, the Brewers are one game back of the St. Louis Cardinals for the NL Central.

Entering this final weekend, the Brew Crew are 2-2 against the Rockies this season. The last time these teams met, the two squads faced off one another at the end of April into the beginning of May. Milwaukee would open the four-game series at home winning two straight, before losing the last two games of the series.

Milwaukee will be awaiting the results of the Cardinals’ games, but they need to worry about their own business before focusing on another team.
