One colt and one filly cannot be separated in the market ahead of the 2022 running of the Prix Jacques Le Marois on Sunday.
One of the supreme events of the French flat season, this 1600m (approximately 1 mile) race is run at Deauville with the winner earning half a million Euros.
The colt in question is Coroebus who is lining up in the Godolphin colours for Charlie Appleby. Last time out he won the St James Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in June making it his fourth win in five starts.

Ridden for the fifth time by William Buick, the 3-year-old is the current joint-favourite at 3.00 with William Hill.
Tied for that favouritism is Inspiral, who will be ridden by Frankie Dettori. Also a 3-year-old, she has a near-identical record to Coroebus, winning five of six.
But the Gosden’s filly was beaten for the first time in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket in her last outing by losing to Prosperous Voyage who finally got the better of her at the fourth attempt.
That particular rivalry will be played out for the fifth time as Prosperous Voyage will be hoping a first voyage to France will indeed prove prosperous for trainer Ralph Beckett and jockey Rob Hornby. She is 9.50 for this running.
Both entries will benefit from being lower in the weights. Coroebus will carry 8-13 while Inspiral will have the equal lowest at 8-9.
Expected to challenge is Joseph O’Brien’s well-traveled State Of Rest. The 4-year-old has already won in Ireland, Britain, Australia, the United States and France, and comes into this contest having triumphed in the Prince of Wales’ Stakes at Royal Ascot. He is at 5.00 with William Hill right now.
Shane Crosse will ride him again and while there are question marks over how he will cope dropping back to 1 mile after racing over 1 mile 2 furlongs for the last year, O’Brien is confident he can stay with his younger, speedy rivals.

J-C Rouget’s Erevann is the best of the local hopes at 23.00. He has won all of his first three starts, which were over a mile including a Group 3 at Chantilly. He has Christophe Soumillon on board but this Group 1 will be quite a step up.
Jamie Spencer rides 10.00 shot Light Infantry while the international flavour continues with 21.00 chance Bathrat Leon from Japan.
