UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Araujo | Who Will Come Out on Top in the Battle of the Contenders?

Another big evening of fighting is just around the corner in Las Vegas with UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Araujo kicking off at 4:00 p.m. (EST) this Saturday afternoon. Eleven mixed martial arts bouts are scheduled with all but two or three of the match-ups looking like close affairs.

ウィリアムヒルIn the main event, Mexican Alexa Grasso comes up against Viviane Araujo from Brazil in what will be a neck and neck affair between the No. 5 and No. 6 female flyweights in the world. Bookmaker William Hill has odds for this headline match as well as the other fights happening at UFC Fight Night this weekend.

Current Odds Date & Time: October 15th, 5:00 A.M. (EST)

Looking at the main event odds, this is anticipated to be a close fight to finish this evening. Grasso has the slight advantage over her opponent Araujo with odds of 1.44 compared to 2.75 in the outright winner market.

Both women head into the fight off the back of a win in mid-2022 with Araujo winning by decision against Andrea Lee and Grasso submitting Joanne Wood. However, prior to this, Araujo had lost to Katlyn Chookagian while Grasso is on a three fight winning streak. It is Grasso who also holds the better professional record with 14-3-0 to her name against Araujo’s 11-3-0.

Digging deeper into the odds, bookmaker William Hill expects this to go the distance and end in a Grasso win on points. Odds for this method of victory are the lowest at 1.91. The same result but for Araujo is next in the odds at 4.00 with a Grasso knockout rounding out the options at 5.50.

Prior to these two stepping into the Octagon, ten other fights will take place. Of these, there are several tight ones to watch.

The penultimate match-up and co-main event sees 28-year-old Jonathan Martinez come up against an opponent 10 years his senior in Cub Swanson. William Hill has this fight 1.50 to 2.60 in favour of the younger Martinez, however there’s always a chance Swanson will go down swinging. The veteran has lost six of his past nine fights after going 11-1-0 in the first 12 fights of his career.

With Swanson aware his time in the UFC is almost up, a bet on the veteran to pull one last win out of the bag may not be a bad idea.
