Current bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is paying 1.30 for the win here, well ahead of Irene Aldana’s 3.50. The Brazilian is paying low odds for a finish at only 1.61 for a win by either KO or submission while her chances of a points victory are also relatively strong at 3.75. If Aldana is to win this one, the bookies say it will most likely be with a finish as well, at 5.50.

In 2021, Amanda Nunes lost for the first time in almost eight years. Between 2014 and 2021, the 35-year-old had gone on a dominant 12-fight winning streak, taking names such as Ronda Roussey, Valentina Shevchenko and Holly Holm. Some were concerned that the loss indicated Father Time had finally caught up to the veteran. However, just six months later, Nunes stepped into the ring with her nemesis Julianna Pena and gained her revenge with an impressive decision victory.
Now, she’s looking to build another winning spree against Irene Aldana and it’s hard to see the Mexican stopping her.
Nunes is a strong fighter across the board, but she loves to trade blows and land knockouts.
