PGA Tour: World Wide Technology Championship 2023 | FedEx Cup Fall Comes to a Close

World Wide Technology Championship 2023

The last leg of the FedEx Cup Fall is here, and it couldn’t be concluding on a more exciting note. With a course designed by Tiger Woods, a competitive field, and the best part of $9,000,000 up for grabs, the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship is sure to deliver some great action this week.

Taking place at the El Cardonal course in Los Cabos, Mexico, this fifth event in the FedEx Cup Fall won’t have the biggest names in golf attending, but there are still some sizable drawcards teeing off. World No. 17 Cameron Young is the top ranked player, while he’ll have some tough competition from the likes of in-form Ludvig Aberg and fellow top 30 golfer Sahith Theegala. Can one of these three take out the title in Mexico this Sunday or will we see a dark horse prevail?

bet365We break down the latest betting odds from bookmaker bet365 and outline the best bets to make on the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship before the first tee on Thursday.

Looking at the outright betting odds, Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg leads the betting at bookmaker bet365 with a return of just 10.00 to win in Los Cabos. Right up there with him is American Cameron Young at 13.00, alongside Sahith Theegala who pays 15.00.

After these three favourites, the odds drop off significantly, with fourth favourite Beau Hossler paying 26.00 and Stephan Jaeger similarly at 29.00. Odds for a top five finish follow a similar trend, with Aberg at 2.10 through to Jaeger who returns 6.50 for a place in the final five.

We agree with bookmaker bet365 that it’s one of Aberg, Young or Theegala who are the best bets to win the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship. Aberg has been incredibly consistent recently, finishing top 15 in his last three events and performing great in Rome as well.

Young has been a little less dialed in lately, but still has five top 10 finishes in the last 12 months, including T6 and T8 at the John Deere Classic and The Open. Theegala, on the other hand, just lifted the trophy at the Fortinet Championship a few weeks ago.

The safest play here is to back Aberg for a top five finish and wager on Young going all the way in Los Cabos. He’s a quality player whose game suits these conditions and with a raft of close results in the past year, it’s time for Young to get a big one.
