The outlook of the AFC East has changed and many experts believe it will be a two-team race to capture the division this season. But what do the bookmakers think?

With Tom Brady ditching New England and taking his talents to the NFC, many believe the Patriots’ reign in the AFC East will be coming to an end. The last time the division saw a champion other than New England was in 2008.

As it stands, the Patriots are currently listed at +100 to win the AFC East. Of course, the biggest hole in New England right now is their QB situation. With Brady gone, no one knows who will be the starting quarterback for New England this season. The Patriots recently signed Brian Hoyer, but there is no clear starting QB.

Right behind the Patriots are the Buffalo Bills. Having not won the division since 1995, the Bills Mafia are longing for another division title. With Brady out of the picture, their devoted fanbase believes this is the year they reign supreme in the AFC East.

Buffalo is listed at +150 to win the division and are the closest to New England in terms of odds.

Of course, this is technically a four-team race, but the Bills and Patriots are the top ponies. The New York Jets are listed at +700 to win the division, while the Miami Dolphins are listed at +1000.

You can never doubt the New England Patriots, but it’s no secret they lost a huge piece of their identity with Brady’s departure. Is this the year New England falls, or will they continue to dominate the division once again?
