Boxing fans in England have a treat on their hands this Saturday night with two women’s title fights going down at the Manchester Arena. Fighting in the first of these big clashes, home favourite Natasha Jonas will take on Canada’s Kandi Wyatt for the IBF World Female Welterweight title.
With Natasha Jonas fighting at home, she’ll be eager to claim this vacant title in front of her local supporters. She already holds belts in the super welterweight division and will back her chances at coming down a division and fighting Kandi Wyatt. The Canadian has only one win in her past four fights and will be hard pressed to not look out of her depth this weekend.
We break down all the latest odds and outline where the value is in the betting markets for those looking to bet on some boxing ahead of Saturday’s title fights.

Unsurprisingly, Natasha Jonas is an overwhelming favourite at bookmaker William Hill. With odds of 1.08 to win the fight outright, Jonas sits miles ahead of Kandi Wyatt, who pays 8.00 for a victory. The method of victory odds don’t look much better either—Jonas is paying only 1.73 for a knockout and 2.10 for a win on points. For Wyatt, her odds are long with 11.00 for a decision and 19.00 for a knockout.

Which women wins this fight feels like something of a foregone conclusion. Natasha Jonas is a multi-belt champion at the super welterweight level, and has consistently defeated boxers who are larger and higher caliber than Kandi Wyatt. With a professional record of 13-2-1, the 39-year-old has only been defeated once in the past five years and that was by one of the best women to ever don gloves, Katie Taylor.
For Wyatt, it’s not pretty reading. Until a few months ago, she was on a three-fight losing streak, going down to Kali Reis, Alma Ibarra and Jessica McCaskill. Following the defeat to McCaskill—which came on the big stage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, for all of the welterweight belts—Wyatt was been inactive for almost 18 months. In just her second fight back, it’s a big ask for the Canadian to hold her own against Jonas.
We see Natasha Jonas winning by knockout and not taking all the allotted rounds to do so either. This could look like a bet on Jonas by knockout at 1.73, a bet on the fight to finish in less than 8.5 rounds at 1.91, or a wager on Jonas to win in round six at 11.00. The choice is yours, depending on your risk tolerance.
