The NBA All-Star week is creeping in and fans are excited to see the best of the best go head-to-head. Last night, captains Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James selected their roster for the one-game spectacle.
While the actual game is always fun to watch. Its high-scoring nature is sometimes overshadowed by the skills competition. Featuring the Dunk Contest, 3-point Contest and Skills Challenge, many fans look forward to this part of All-Star weekend.

Damian Lillard has the best odds to win the 3-point contest. Currently listed at +350 to win the event, it’s no surprise oddsmakers are siding with Lillard. Lillard is ranked 2nd in the NBA in 3-pointers made this season. Lillard has chucked the second-most 3-point attempts in the NBA, second only to James Harden.
Joe Harris has the second-best odds to win the competition. Listed at +400, he is expected to give Lillard a run for this money. Harris is shooting .465 from 3-point range. Harris’ participation in this event comes with merit as he is the defending champion.
The last time we saw a player win the 3-Point contest in back-to-back seasons was Jason Kapono (2007-2008).
Haris and Lillard have the best odds to win this season, but that doesn’t always mean they are a sure thing. You never know if one of the top dogs are going to be cold from beyond the arc.
