Online bookmaker Sportsbetting has Lillard at +350 to win the 3-Point Contest.
One of the most talked-about events during All-Star weekend is the 3-point contest. With the participants listed ahead of the competition, odds have been released as to which player will take home the award this season.
Damian Lillard has the best odds to win the 3-point contest. Currently listed at +350 to win the event, it’s no surprise oddsmakers are siding with Lillard. Lillard is ranked 2nd in the NBA in 3-pointers made this season. Lillard has chucked the second-most 3-point attempts in the NBA, second only to James Harden.
Joe Harris has the second-best odds to win the competition. Listed at +400, he is expected to give Lillard a run for this money. Harris is shooting .465 from 3-point range. Harris’ participation in this event comes with merit as he is the defending champion.
The last time we saw a player win the 3-Point contest in back-to-back seasons was Jason Kapono (2007-2008).
Haris and Lillard have the best odds to win this season, but that doesn’t always mean they are a sure thing. You never know if one of the top dogs are going to be cold from beyond the arc.
