Les Dogues are also unbeaten in their last two trips to Marseille and in four games in total in the head-to-head meetings.

Marseille’s recent work at the back deserves a lot of plaudits as well, with the team having recorded three consecutive clean sheets. Starting goalkeeper Pau Lopez has conceded just once in four appearances this season and that was a goal from the penalty spot. It isn’t hard to maintain clean sheets either if you face only 1.5 shots on target per game.
Lille needs to put a lot more pressure on the Spanish goalkeeper if they want to become the first team to beat Marseille this season. Tudor has found a very good balance between his defense and the attack, but Fonseca is a highly-rated tactician who should have multiple tricks up his sleeve to cause the hosts trouble.
