Pinnacle LogoCurrently online bookmaker Pinnacle has the moneyline on Hill at 1.38 and on Santos at 3.15. Jamahal Hill, coming in as the favorite, has been on a tear of late and seems to be in the best shape of his life looking to secure his 3rd consecutive win in UFC. Santos on the other hand is looking to end his spell of misfortunes and finally take home a much needed victory.

Hailing from Chicago in the United States, Jamahal Hill is an elite fighter with a staggering record. Standing at 10-1-0, he is currently ranked 10th in the UFC Light Heavyweight rankings. Having won his previous two bouts, Hill will definitely be motivated to make it three in a row by winning against Santos.

His first victory came in December of 2021 against Jimmy Crute where he won by TKO/KO. In February 2022, he defeated Johnny Walker yet again by TKO/KO thus earning him the nickname “Sweet Dreams”.

Fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Thiago Santos is a veteran of the UFC with an impressive record of 22-10-0. Nicknamed “Marreta” meaning “Sledgehammer”, Santos is known for being a heavy hitter who is able to deliver devastating blows to his opponents allowing him to dominate fights and secure 22 victories as a result, 15 of which were by TKO/KO.

As if this wasn’t enough already to prove he is one of the greats, Thiago Santos also holds a green rope in Capoeira, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a black belt in muay thai. With the three combined, Santos stands at the No. 6 spot in the UFC light heavyweight rankings and it is safe to say that he is one of the most versatile and deadly opponents in the history of MMA.

With both fighters renowned for being heavy hitters, specializing in TKO/KO finishes, we can expect a thrilling performance to say the least. Even though the odds are heavily in Hill’s favor, one cannot write off veterans of the UFC such as Santos. One thing is for sure though, this fight will be one you don’t want to miss.
