All the big names are present, making this one of the most action-packed, competitive weekends of darts in the calendar this year.
Michael van Gerwen will be looking for another win here, with the big man playing in his home country and having won this event four times previously. Yes, the Englishman is fifth in the betting odds, so he’s not an outright bolter, but with odds of 12.00 he’s far from being seen as a sure thing either. However, Aspinall has found some good form recently, making a deep run in Germany, winning the World Matchplay title, and making the final in New Zealand as well. He could well be on the brink of another good result here and could be worth a high odds bet this weekend at the Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals 2023.
