Losing the first leg 2-0 three weeks ago was a disappointment for Frankfurt, and they received a double blow in the contest with star man Randal Kolo Muani sent off in the game, which leaves him unavailable for the return leg.

The French forward has been incredibly productive with his work in Germany this season, recording 16 goals and 14 assists in 34 appearances across all competitions. He’s shown off an impressive eye for a goal and has also been Frankfurt’s most creative player, meaning manager Oliver Glasner has a major hole to fill in the lineup.

Frankfurt will hope to get an early goal and repeat what Lazio recently managed to do against Napoli. On March 3, Maurizio Sarri’s side became the first team this season to keep Napoli from scoring at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. It was a hugely impressive feat, considering how well Napoli has played this season and who they have in the attack leading the charge.

Victor Osimhen has crushed it this season with 21 goals in 27 games and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has dominated with 13 goals and 15 assists across 28 outings. The two can decide a game in an instant and the opposing defense can’t afford a breather against them during the whole 90 minutes of play.

What’s even more impressive about the Napoli attack – Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia aren’t even the team’s top scorers in European action. Giovanni Simeone and Giacomo Raspadori have the honors with four goals each.

The loss against Lazio was also only the third home loss of the season for Napoli. They have dominated the proceedings in Serie A and their European record has been superb as well with the team winning all three home outings with a combined score of 11-3. It would be a night to remember for the visitors if Frankfurt can find a way to match Napoli’s quality and pull off a comeback.
