Miami’s streak has come against solid opponents like the Philadelphia 76ers (twice) and Indiana Pacers. The Heat face the Washington Wizards Monday, a game that the Heat are the favorites in.

Miami’s longest winning streak of the season is 5 games, which happened earlier this season. With a victory tonight, Miami will capture their longest win streak of the season.

As for the Wizards, they find themselves near the basement of the Eastern Conference. Washington has lost 2 straight games and owns a record of 9-22. Only the Atlanta Hawks have a worse record in the Eastern Conference.

Head Coach Erik Spoelstra was in the middle of the Big 3 in Miami, with LeBron, Bosh, and Wade. Since the Big 3 split, Spoelstra has not been able to coach a team to 50 wins or more. Could this be the season the Heat win over 50 games once again?

Miami currently has a .750 winning percent, if they maintain that through the rest of the season, it will be the second-highest winning percentage for the team since 2013. The Heat would go on to win the NBA title that season.

The Wizards own the worst attendance in the NBA. Not since the late 1970s have the Wizards (then Bullets) been a threat for the league title. How many more years of mediocrity will the fans of the Wizards have to endure?
