Can Tennessee Shock the World Against New England?

The playoffs are here. Whether your team snagged a first-round bye or punched their ticket on the final day, your squad has made the postseason.

This weekend, we will see the NFC and AFC Wild Card showdowns. Focusing on the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans, the Patriots lost out on their first-round bye on the final day of the regular season.

Both teams will need to hit the film room as these clubs have not faced off against one another this season. There must be a sense of belief for the Titans as the Miami Dolphins beat the Patriots by three points.

This is a huge contest for the Titans. Having missed the playoffs last season, the Titans are looking to reach the Division Championship for the second time in three years. With that being said, Tennessee has not reached the Super Bowl since 1999.

We are well versed in the resume Belichick, Brady and the Patriots have entering this game. With many playoff appearances and championships won, this could be a David vs. Goliath contest.

However, the talents of A.J. Brown and Ryan Tannehill have been a match made in Heaven when it comes to the Titans’ offense. Add in the fact that Derrick Henry should be able to roll and the Titans offense deserves credit. I think the Titans have a solid offense that could shock the world.

Unfortunately, they are facing one of the best defenses in the league so the Titans’ offense will need to have a career-defining game come playoff time.
