Packers/Saints Chase the Over Without Key Stars

Two future Hall-of-Famers will headline Sunday Night Football, as the New Orleans Saints play host to the Green Bay Packers.

Green Bay’s perfect 2-0 record is on the line, facing the 1-1 Saints. The Packers’ offense has been dominant through two games. Averaging 42.5 points per game, the Saints’ defense will have their hands full with Green Bay today.

Signs are pointing to a Green Bay win, but don’t count the Saints out. With players like Drew Brees and Alvin Kamara on the field, the Saints will always be dangerous.

Of course, both teams will be missing weapons entering this game. Michael Thomas will not suit up for the Saints and Davante Adams is questionable, so both offensive coordinators will need to dig deep into their depth charts.

What makes the Packers so dangerous is that their offense can explode at any time. We saw last week against Detroit that the Packers are never really out. Even down 14-3 after the first quarter, Green Bay can find ways to pull out victories.

It will be a tough contest for the Saints. This game is poised to be high-scoring, so maybe take a look at the over. If both teams have goalline opportunities, Jones and Kamara will have ample opportunities to punch the ball into the end zone.
