The CFL season is coming to a close. Entering the final weekend of play, teams are gearing up for a shot at the Grey Cup. And then there’s the Ottawa Redblacks.
Losers of their last 10 games, the Redblacks enter the final week of the season with the worst record in the CFL and longest losing streak of the season.
Facing off against East Division rival Montreal Alouettes, it could be an ugly game in front of the hometown crowd. Montreal enters this game having lost their last contest.

Online bookmaker 5Dimes has the Redblacks at +320 on the Money Line.
The last time the Redblacks were able to capture a victory was against these very Alouettes. It was a 30-27 win in Montreal back in August. The Alouettes must have put a spell on the Redblacks because they haven’t been able to take home a victory since. Could lightning strike twice Friday evening?
The city of Ottawa is also under a rainfall warning and TD Place is exposed to the elements, so this could be a slippery and muddy affair.
No matter what happens Friday night, the Redblacks will finish last in the East Division. Ottawa is at the end of their second-worst season in franchise history. In 2014, the Redblacks finished with 2 wins, which was their inaugural season.
QB Vernon Adams Jr. will look to make the Redblacks pay. This season he has tossed 22 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Meanwhile, William Stanback has 1003 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground.
Can Ottawa end their season on a high note? The Redblacks look to send their fans home happy after a disappointing season.
