New Orleans vs. Denver is one of the more intriguing games today. New Orleans was already projected to be the favorite in this contest, but after some recent news, the Saints dominate on the money line today.
The main reason New Orleans is a huge favorite is that the Denver Broncos have lost all of their quarterbacks for Sunday’s game after being declared ineligible due to COVID-19 protocols. The three rostered QB’s were all considered close-contact and high-risk, meaning they will not be eligible to suit up this afternoon.
As of 9:30 A.M. Sunday morning, the Broncos have not announced a replacement QB.
According to reports, the Broncos will not be forfeiting the game, but the NFL still has time to either postpone the game or cancel it. Players on the Broncos have reached out via social media discussing the situation, some in a joking fashion and others in a more serious tone.
If the game is played as scheduled, the Saints should add another W to their impressive seven-game win streak. As for the Broncos, they will hope to save face during an unusual time.
It would be a holiday miracle for Denver to win. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem likely for the Broncos.
