NC Dinos Look to Flex Muscles Against Kiwoom Heroes

Lee Jung-hoo Drives Heroes to Victory - Korea Live Sports

We’re still in the early going of the Korea Baseball League, but the NC Dinos are already pulling away from their competition.

Sitting pretty with a record of 14-3, the Dinos are the number one team in the KBO. Taking on the Kiwoom Heroes Tuesday morning, the Dinos will look to extend their already hefty lead on the rest of the league.

Kiwoom aren’t pushovers by any stretch, sitting with a 10-8 record. However, in their last 10 games, the Heroes are 4 and 6.

Four Storylines To Watch In The KBO Korean Baseball League

Lee Jung-hoo is one of the most feared hitters in all of the KBO. Representing Kiwoom, Jung-hoo has a .373 BA with 25 hits on the season. He is in the top ten for Batting Average in the league and the only Heroes’ member on the list.

The Dinos are stacked with their own set of powerful hitters. Kang Jin-sung has tallied 15 RBI this season, while Na Sung-bum has rocked 13 RBI for the Dinos. Going back to Jin-sung, he has picked up a .500 batting average through 45 plate appearances.

Dinos rout Giants 9-2 in postseason Game 1

Koo Chang-mo will get the start for NC. Currently 2-0 on the season with a 0.41 ERA on the year, Chang-mo has had no trouble fanning hitters at the dish. On the rubber for the Heroes will be Lee Seung-ho. Seung-ho has a 4.91 ERA through 3 games started and with the power, the Dinos have in their lineup, I am unsure if that ERA will drop.

It’s no surprise the Dinos are the favorites on the money line. Will they do as expected and defeat the Heroes?
