The Golden State Warriors will welcome back a star tonight as Steph Curry returns to the lineup against the Toronto Raptors. The Warriors are in unfamiliar territory, especially considering they made it to the NBA Finals last season.
The NBA is buzzing as the Warriors and Raptors square off tonight in the same arena that saw Toronto capture the NBA title. Even though the Warriors are having a terrible season, the crowd is supposed to be electric tonight as Curry returns to the lineup.

Curry has not hit the court in a regular-season game since October 30, missing 58 games in the process. During his absence, the Warriors fell to the bottom of the Western Conference. Golden State also has the worst record in the NBA.
As for the Raptors, they are still one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference despite losing Kawhi Leonard to free agency. While the Raptors may not finish as the first seed in the East they are still considered to be contenders.
If Golden State manages to pull out a victory tonight, it will be only the third time this season the Warriors have won more than one game in a row. Their longest win streak of the season is four games.
Toronto went on an impressive winning streak earlier this season. The streak helped keep the Raptors near the top of the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, Toronto may not be able to catch Milwaukee for the number one seed in the East.
Tonight marks the first of two encounters between these clubs. Their next date is scheduled for the 16th of March in Toronto.
