Milan are the favorites for the meeting and for good reason. The Rossoneri haven’t dropped a league game since January and they are riding a 13-game unbeaten streak across all competitions. Following a 3-2 derby win against Inter, Milan are also enjoying a six-game winning run at home in the league.

It’s going to be a tough day at the office for Napoli, although their chances of success will be helped by the fact that Rafael Leao is suspended for the game. The Portuguese ace picked up two yellow cards in last week’s 2-1 triumph over Sampdoria.

Leao was voted the Serie A MVP last season and he has just started to heat up again. The 23-year-old collected his third league assist of the season against Sampdoria and his work across the last four league matches includes two goals and three assists. He’s going to be a big miss for the hosts on Sunday.

Napoli have their own star forward missing in Victor Osimhen, but his absence seems to have lifted the side. Luciano Spalletti’s men have scored six goals in two and a half games since Osimhen was forced off with a hamstring problem late in the first half in last week’s 4-1 drubbing of Liverpool.

The team has started the share the goals around very well and it looks like Napoli have discovered a future world star in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian youngster has looked incredible in his first Serie A outings, recording four goals and an assist in six games. He also impressed with an assist on his Champions League debut against Liverpool.

Napoli have beaten Milan in two consecutive away games and they will have a decent chance to complete a hat trick of road wins in the fixture if Kvaratskhelia remains at the top of his game. Summer signing Giacomo Raspadori has also just started to find his feet at the club, scoring in back-to-back games.
