UFC Fight Night London: Blaydes vs. Aspinall. Which Heavyweight Fighter Will Go Home Victorious?

ウィリアムヒルUFC is finally back in London for the second time this year with the main event starting this Saturday evening between Curtis Blaydes (#4) and Tom Aspinall (#6). The bout takes place in the famous O2 London Arena and everything is set and ready to go for this heavyweight spectacle. Online bookmaker William Hill has the latest odds!

※ Current Odds Date & Time: July 20th, 3:00 P.M. (EST)

With the moneyline odds on Aspinall at 1.67 and on Blaydes at 2.20, we can expect a fairly even match-up between the two heavyweights. Aspinall, with a reach of 78 inches, stands at a disadvantage against Blaydes who has a reach of an extraordinary 80 inches.

With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that the odds on Blaydes winning by decision is slightly better than on Aspinall. Because of this, we can expect Aspinall to go in for a TKO, KO or submission in order to secure yet another win.

Coming from Chicago, US, Curtis Blaydes is an elite heavyweight fighter with a staggering record of 16-3-0. Having won his last two bouts, a potential strategy would be to take the fight into the later rounds in trying to gain an advantage over his opponent as Tom Aspinall is an extremely versatile fighter known to TKO/KO his opponents within the first few rounds.

If this fails, Aspinall can always try to win by submission as he has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Blaydes’ previous wins came against Rozenstruik in September by Unanimous Decision (UD) and against Daukaus in March by TKO/KO. If he manages to secure a win against Tom Aspinall on Saturday evening, Blaydes’ chances of challenging for the heavyweight title would be greatly improved.

Tom Aspinall, coming from Liverpool, England, is perhaps one of the most versatile fighters in the business at the moment. His training began with wrestling and boxing after which he transitioned to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) or more specifically, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

He currently stands as one of the most difficult opponents in modern day MMA being especially lethal on the ground. His current record of 12-2-0 puts him as one of the elite fighters of the UFC and a fighter to be reckoned with.

His best chances of winning on Saturday would be to go in for a TKO, KO or submission as Blaydes is an opponent that thrives off long fights and endurance battles. In any case, it will be a spectacle worth watching!
