UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Allen | Best Bets and Fight Odds

Over the last 20+ years, fight promoter Dana White has built such an impressive organisation in the form of the Ultimate Fighter Championship. Almost every weekend without fail, the UFC churns out a full card of mixed martial arts fights for lovers of the sport and bettors alike.

This weekend is no different with UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Allen live from 4:00 p.m. (EST) this Saturday out of the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

ウィリアムヒルSeveral of the match-ups in this fight card are exciting prospects, not to mention the headline fight that is expected to be an absolute nail-biter of an affair. We look at the odds from bookmaker William Hill ahead of these fights and preview some of the best bets to make.

Current Odds Date & Time: October 28th, 11:00 A.M. (EST)

Looking at the odds from William Hill, only two or three of these fights look like they will be one-sided with the rest appearing competitive match-ups.

This trend is epitomised by the headline fight, which has odds of 1.80 against 2.00. 34-year-old American Calvin Kattar is the slight underdog conceding a narrow lead in the odds to his younger British opponent, Arnold Allen.

Analysing these odds further, betting on Arnold Allen to win this one seems like a great idea. The 28-year-old is on an eleven fight win streak having recently overcome the strong Dan Hooker with a first round knockout earlier this year. In his decade long career, Allen has lost just once in accruing a professional record of 18-1-0 since 2012.

Calvin Kattar, on the other hand, has lost two of his last three fights and holds a 23-6-0 record.

Bookies favour Kattar’s experience, however, and have him on strong odds to score a knockout here at 3.75 or win on decision at 3.25. The most likely method of victory is Allen by decision at 3.00, but we say there’s a good chance Allen will rise to the challenge and end this one early.

For a lucrative return, take Allen by knockout at 5.50.

Other fights in the card for betting include vs. Jun Yong Park. Park is ahead in the odds at William Hill, however there’s a chance that Holmes will make a name for himself here and score an upset. The American holds a significant height and reach advantage of six and seven inches, which he could leverage if he’s able to calm his nerves at this level.

Take Holmes to win outright at 2.90.
