After more than 50 tournaments this year, the best eight players in women’s tennis have been found for 2022.
The next week will see these high performers square off in an exciting format to determine which woman can end the season on a high and win the WTA Finals in Fort Worth. Iga Swiatek leads the pack with seven other woman including Coca Gauff, Ons Jabeur and Jessica Pegula all nipping at her heels.
We look at the odds from bookmaker William Hill ahead of the tournament’s start tomorrow and preview the best bets to be made at the WTA Finals 2022.

Looking at the bookies’ odds, it’s no surprise that yet again Iga Swiatek is the clear favourite to win this event.
The 21-year-old Pole stands well ahead of the competition at 2.25 to win the tournament with her closest rival Jessica Pegula at 6.00. Such a gap exists because of how dominant Swiatek has been this season. Since the retirement of Ashleigh Barty earlier in the year, Swiatek has stepped up and established herself as the new head of women’s tennis in winning 37 matches in a row and claiming eight singles title as well as two Grand Slams.
Swiatek comes into this tournament in strong form having recovered from a slight lull in form after her winning streak ended by winning the San Diego Open a fortnight ago. A bet on Swiatek to win outright at 2.25 is the smart money play for the WTA Finals 2022.
Offering the stiffest competition to Swiatek this week will be Ons Jabeur, Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff.
The 18-year-old Gauff has odds of 7.50 to win the WTA Finals 2022 and has been drawn in the same pool as Swiatek. She is yet to win a title this year but has little expectation on her shoulders heading into the week’s play and will no doubt hit freely.
Jabeur and Pegula, on the other hand, are legitimate rivals to upset Swiatek. Both have met the Pole in the finals of WTA events this year and pushed the world No. 1 to her limit. Chances are this will happen again with Switek seeded to meet one in the semifinals and one in the final. With odds of 6.00 for Pegula and 7.00 for Jabeur, this is the best bet to take against Swiatek.
The WTA Finals will begin on Monday, October 31st with the final occurring a week later on Monday, November 7th. The contestants are split into two pools with a round robin taking place before the knockout semifinals and a final are held based on pool standings. Here are our predicted results:
