Gamers8 2023 Rainbow Six Siege | Offseason Tournament With Massive Prizes

Gamers8 2023 Rainbow Six Siege

Starting July 13 through July 16 eight of the most in-form international Rainbow Six Siege teams will battle it out in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Gamers8 Festival. Although this event takes place outside of the official BLAST R6 season, the stakes are still high for the competitors with a huge US$2 million prize pool.

Four of the teams were invited by the Gamers8 Festival (Team Falcons, w7m Esports, Oxygen Esports, and G2 Esports) while the other four had to compete in qualifiers through the Gamers Without Borders events (Cyclops Athlete Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, M80, and Team BDS). The end result is a field full of tough, motivated competitors all chasing this big prize money.

Among the top five teams at Gamers8, the odds are close, and it looks like the results of the competition are up in the air. Especially with the top two teams w7m Esports and G2 Esports separated by thin margins, paying at 3.75 and 4.50 respectively. Team BDS is right behind G2 with odds of 5.00, while M80 and Oxygen Esports are tied at 6.00. Ninjas in Pyjamas isn’t too far off the pace either at 9.00, while Team Falcons and CYCLOPS Athlete Gaming are the major underdogs paying 17.00 to win the tournament. Odds to reach the final are similar with even finer margins separating the sides.

Favourites w7m Esports recently won the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen 2023 but finished second at the Six Invitational 2023 behind G2 Esports. G2 Esports started the year off strong by winning the Six Invitational but disappointed in the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen. Bettors and bookies will be looking for these two to have a strong performance at this year’s Gamers8 tournament.

Besides the two favourites, Team BDS looks to right the ship as a run of bad form has struck after a monstrous 2022. Another possibility is M80 who is a relatively new team being founded in 2022 but is arguably the best team in the world purely based on talent.

Will it be either w7m or G2 who wins a second major tournament this year? Or will it be one of the other teams who has yet to see gold in 2023? Going off current form, your best bet would be on one of the top four.

A factor that needs to be considered as well is that Team Falcons will have home field advantage. Any side paying 17.00 to win the tournament is a risky bet, but 9.00 to make it to the finals could be a better option. If you’re purely looking at it based on form however, you should go with w7m or G2 who are at 3.75 and 4.50 respectively.
