So far this year, golf has been all about the incredible form of Jon Rahm. The Spaniard has been on a rampage, winning his fifth event last weekend from his past nine.
While Rahm may be the best player on tour right now, it will be Sungjae Im who looks to dominate in Florida this week with many of golf’s top players taking the week off. The Honda Classic 2023 will see plenty of the world’s Top 50 present as players look to take advantage of the absence of some big names in Florida.
We breakdown all the winner odds ahead of this week’s play and look at the best bets to make with bookmaker William Hill.

Looking at the outright winner odds for the Honda Classic 2023, it’s immediately obvious that this is anyone’s tournament. While Sungjae Im is the favourite at 10.00, even these are quite high winner odds. Following the South Korean is World No. 20 Shane Lowry at 15.00, followed by World No. 39 Aaron Wise at 23.00. Rounding out the top favourites, Billy Horschel, Min Woo Lee, Matt Kuchar, Denny McCarthy and Adam Svensson are all fourth equal at 26.00. Defending champion Sepp Straka, however, is well behind at 51.00.
While Sungjae Im has not won a title this season, with his last coming in October 2021, the World No. 18 has produced solid results in many of his recent tournaments. Last week’s Genesis Invitational wasn’t his best performance with a final result of T56, however before that he had two top ten finishes with a T6 at the WM Phoenix Open and a T4 at the Farmers Insurance Open prior to that. Add in a handful of other top ten finishes over the past months and it feels as though Sungjae Im is building nicely towards another title.
As the highest ranked player in this field, and the most in-form and consistent player as well, Sungjae Im is an excellent bet here to win the Honda Classic 2023.

There are also some good bets to be made in the top ten finisher odds. Sepp Straka, last year’s champion, will be focused in on defending his title this week. While it’s unlikely he’ll be able to do so, the Austrian does know what it takes to produce a deep run here in Florida and with odds of 6.00, he could be a strong bet to finish within the top ten.
