After a month hiatus, LIV Golf is back in action and on American soil as well. The controversial golf circuit is nearing a close for the year with just four events left in the season’s calendar. Not only does this mean there are limited opportunities to see your favourite players out there on the green, but it also means the competition will be fiercer than ever as the race for those coveted top three positions on the tour are heating up.
This week, Greenbrier, West Virginia plays host to the LIV Golf Invitational Greenbrier 2023 where $25 million is up for grabs. Can Talor Gooch make up for his poor showing at the Open Championship and claim a fourth title this year? Or will Cameron Smith solidify his position in the top three race? We break down all the latest betting odds from bookmaker William Hill and outline the best bets to make on the LIV Golf Invitational Greenbrier 2023 this week.

Looking at the outright betting odds from bookmaker William Hill, Cameron Smith is the clear favourite this week with odds for 9.00 to win the LIV Golf Invitational Greenbrier 2023. Behind him is Brooks Koepka as the second best contender paying 12.00 for a victory. The favourites become quite congested after these two with a four way tie for third favourite at 15.00 between Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Joaquin Niemann and Bryson DeChambeau.
Top five finish odds are a little more mixed with Smith on 2.60, Koepka at 3.20 and DeChambeau paying 3.50. Behind them, Johnson and Reed are at 3.75 before Gooch sneaks in at 4.00.

As far as picking a winner goes, we’ve got two bets to recommend. First, Talor Gooch. The man is the definition of hit and miss with three event wins to his name this season—more than any other player—yet no other top 10 finishes outside of these tournaments. He’s missed recently, failing to make the cut at the Open Championship and placing 22nd at his last LIV Golf event. While this would usually indicate a player who is struggling for form, for Gooch is may well indicate that another big win is just around the corner.
Our other recommended bet is Cameron Tringale. The American hasn’t had an amazing season by any stretch of the imagination after being a solid PGA Tour player before making the move to LIV Golf. Currently, he sits at 12th in the standings, however, his past three events have been promising. With three consecutive top 10 finishes, could Tringale be on the cusp on his first tournament win? He pays a healthy 26.00 for it or 5.00 for those who want to back him to make his deepest run yet and wind up in the top five.
