Online bookmaker Top Bet has McIlroy at +800 to win this year.
All eyes will be on Tiger Woods entering the Masters. Woods is tied with Arnold Palmer for the second most Masters’ wins with four, however his last victory came here in 2005. Furthermore, he has only made the top 10 once this season in five tournaments and his last tournament victory came in 2018.
Rory McIlroy is another talent looking to capture the green jacket, which would be the first of his career. The current number one ranked golfer in the world is hoping this Masters tournament will be different. With that being said, 2019 has been great for the 29 year-old. He has one tournament win and six finishes inside the top 10. Of his 7 tournaments played, only two have been outside of the top 5 as well.
Other notable athletes looking to make their mark will be Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose and Brooks Koepka.
Justin Thomas will need to battle some recent shortcomings in order to win this year. After a streak of three straight tournaments finishing in the top 10, Thomas has finished his last two tournaments in 30th and 25th place respectively.
So who will win the Masters in 2019? It all begins on April 11. Will one of the names featured here walk away with the green jacket or will an underdog swoop in at Augusta to claim the year’s first major?
