Liverpool have hit some form right before continuing their Champions League campaign and will be hopeful of picking up a third consecutive win on Tuesday versus Real Madrid.
These two played out a very tight game in last year’s final as one goal proved to be decisive. Bookmaker William Hill offers odds at 4.00 for another cagey affair with under 1.5 goals scored. Meanwhile, the odds are at 2.10 for under 2.5 goals and at 1.67 for over 2.5 goals.

The clash back in May was the ninth meeting between the two teams and Real hold the edge with five wins to two. Los Blancos are six games unbeaten in the match-up and have allowed only two goals during the run. Liverpool definitely have to produce a very high-level performance to improve their numbers.
It’s been a very bumpy campaign for the Reds, but they have now picked up some momentum with back-to-back 2-0 wins and there have been a number of pleasing things for Jürgen Klopp in the team’s most recent outings. Cody Gakpo has scored in both of the last two games, Darwin Nunez notched a goal over the weekend against Newcastle and Stefan Bajcetic has really stepped it up in the midfield.
Bajcetic became Liverpool’s youngest-ever player as a 17-year-old in the Champions League back in September and he’s now also forced himself into Klopp’s plans in the Premier League. He has great defensive instincts after starting out as a center back and also boasts an impressive passing range and work rate.
Losing out on Aurelien Tchouameni in the summer was a big blow for Liverpool, but Bajcetic has started to show that he can be the future of the team’s midfield. Bajcetic would’ve had a great opportunity to outplay Tchouameni in a head-to-head battle on Tuesday night, but the Real man has fallen sick and isn’t in the matchday squad. The flu bug that has been going around in the Real dressing room has also taken down Toni Kroos ahead of Tuesday’s big match.
Liverpool remain without Thiago Alcantara and Luis Diaz, but Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino have returned from long injury layoffs in recent games and Virgil van Dijk was also back in action on Saturday against Newcastle.
Injuries have played a big part in Liverpool’s troubles this season and their lineup looks very impressive when it’s near full health. Klopp definitely has the quality at his disposal to beat Real on Tuesday, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side is the defending champion and never gives in easily.
