United last failed to win at home on Oct. 16 when Newcastle United managed to escape Old Trafford with a 0-0 draw. There have been eight clean sheets during the 13-game streak and 33 total goals scored. It’s clearly going to be a very difficult night for Leeds.

With Arsenal and Manchester City both having lost over the weekend, Erik ten Hag’s men have a great opportunity to close the gap at the top of the table. They can match City’s points tally here and move within five points of Arsenal. The team should be highly motivated by the chance to jump into the title race.

Marcus Rashford has been the head honcho for United and will hope to make an impact again against one of the club’s fiercest rivals. He has failed to score in only two of his last 12 home appearances, becoming the second United player ever to register a nine-game goal streak at Old Trafford.

Leeds head to Old Trafford with the longest win-less streak in the Premier League, having gone without a victory for seven straight games. Jesse Marsch struggled to make things click offensively for the team and clean sheets have also been very rare for Leeds, which meant it was impossible for him to hang on to his job after Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham.

The trio of Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas will be in charge Wednesday, and they have had very little time to work with the team, which puts Leeds in a very challenging situation ahead of the big match.

This has also been an extremely difficult match-up for Leeds ever since the club returned to the Premier League in 2020. They managed to sneak a 0-0 draw at Elland Road in April 2021, but the rest of the games have all ended in big defeats. United did the double over Leeds last season with a combined score of 9-3.
