England will look to make it five wins out of five matches in the EURO 2024 qualifiers on Saturday as Gareth Southgate’s men clash with Ukraine in Wroclaw.

These two teams have quite a lot of history between them, having previously met during qualifying campaigns multiple times. Ukraine earned a famous victory over England during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, and the Three Lions have since then lost just once during their qualifying efforts for either the Euros or the World Cup.
The road to the 2024 Euros has started in impressive fashion for England as the team sits at the top of Group C with a perfect record and 15 goals scored with just one conceded through four games. Ukraine has also done well, registering two wins in three games, but Saturday’s clash in Poland will still likely be a very difficult one for the Blue and Yellow.
England enters the contest on a great run, and Southgate also has a lot of in-form talent, led by Jude Bellingham, who has enjoyed a dream start to life at Real Madrid. He’s scored in every La Liga outing so far and should be feeling at the top of the world right now.
Having only registered a goal and two assists in 24 games thus far, Bellingham hasn’t really stood out for England in the final third, but he now looks to be ready to elevate his game further, and Ukraine could face a very long evening if Bellingham manages to carry his club form over to the international stage.
Serhiy Rebrov’s team will focus hard on limiting Bellingham’s influence but must also be wary of other threats. Harry Kane has had no issues adjusting to a new league either, and he boasts an exceptional record in the EURO qualifiers with 20 goals scored in 17 career outings.
Ukraine’s main threat will likely come from Viktor Tsyhankov. He’s been involved in three of the team’s four goals in the qualifiers, netting a couple himself and logging one assist. Additionally, Mykhailo Mudryk could be particularly fired up for the game, with his career in England being underwhelming so far. He hasn’t even been a regular starter for Chelsea this season but a good performance on Saturday would definitely generate buzz and boost his reputation.
