Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are set for a fiery second leg in the Champions League quarter-finals as the Spanish side travels to Germany with a 2-1 lead.

Atletico produced almost a perfect performance in the first game a week ago, gabbing an early lead and only conceding late on. The Sebastien Haller strike has given Dortmund hope of getting back to the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2013. The latter has added 10 assists during an impressive debut campaign with Dortmund and looks set to rejoin the starting lineup after being replaced by Haller in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Mönchengladbach.
Füllkrug didn’t see a single minute of action despite Haller getting hurt early at the weekend and should be fully fresh for Tuesday’s crucial clash, while the team is also expected to get back Jadon Sancho. The talented winger missed the weekend’s action due to an illness.
Edin Terzic’s side will hope to take advantage of Altetico’s incredibly poor away form. The team has won only seven road contests all season, losing five of the last seven. Atletico’s last trip to Dortmund also brings back only negative memories. During the 2018-19 Champions League group stage, Borussia received three goals from the bench as Simeone’s team was crushed 4-0.
