Jannik Sinner Will Win the Madrid Open 2024
Our first 2024 ATP Madrid Open prediction is that Jannik Sinner will lift the title. The Italian is simply too good to fail in consecutive events. In fact, he hasn’t done so since before the US Open last year. Each of his last four loses (New York, Shanghai, London, Indian Wells) have seen him go on to win a title the next time he’s taken to the court (Beijing, Vienna, Davis Cup Finals, Miami).
Hard to ignore this kind of pattern, so we’re backing the 22-year-old to prevail in Madrid.
Jan-Lennard Struff Will Go Deep Again
With that said, we also think that German Jan-Lennard Struff is a great chance of making a deep run in Madrid this week. The 33-year-old has been around the ATP Tour since 2009, and just last week, won his first title in Munich. He claimed the trophy in emphatic style, breezing past some of the best players in the world.
Considering what he did here in Madrid last year (stormed to the final as a lucky loser), it’s clear he thrives in these conditions. His forehand and serve will only be better than they were in Munich, making him an excellent bet to return to the Madrid Open final.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz pays 3.40 to win his third consecutive Madrid crown, level with Italian Jannik Sinner. Behind these two, Alexander Zverev comes in at 9.50 as third favourite. The two in-form players of the clay season so far – Tsitsipas and Ruud – round out the top five betting favourites in the 2024 ATP Madrid Open odds at 12.00 and 15.00 respectively.
