Through the first six games of the World Series, the away team has won all contests. That feat is rare and it may be the only time in American sports history this has happened.
As we turn our attention to tonight and Game 7, Max Scherzer gets his chance to pitch in the World Series once again. After missing his start in Game 5, the Nationals have given Scherzer another chance to bring home the title. It will be interesting to see how Scherzer is feeling entering this game, but you can bet that Washington will stay mute on the subject before first pitch.

Online bookmaker 5Dimes has the Nationals at +123 on the Money Line.
Right-handed pitcher Zack Greinke will get the start for Houston. Greinke doesn’t throw heat like Verlander or Cole, but he does succeeding in mixing up speeds and locations with his five-pitch repertoire.
Between these teams, staying composed will be the deciding factor in this contest. The electricity will be high in Houston and the Nationals will need to find a way to shut down the Astros four straight times at home this season. Of the Astros’ 55 losses in the regular season and 21 losses at home, they never lost four-straight games in front of their home-town crowd.
This is certainly unfamiliar territory for Houston. A home game that has resulted in a loss was rare during the regular season. However, the Nationals have proven that their ballclub doesn’t necessarily follow trends. It’s been a journey to this point.
Washington must believe that this team is special. One win away from a World Series title, they have the right guy on the mound. Game 7 takes place tonight and it should be a fantastic way to close out the 2019 season.
