Three games into the regular season, the Golden State Warriors have captured their first win. Now they will look to make it two-in-a-row when they square up against the Phoenix Suns.

It’s early in the season, but you have to wonder if the Warriors will be a threat this year like they have been in previous seasons. Golden State saw Kevin Durant sign in Brooklyn and Klay Thompson is out for the season with an ACL tear. Steph Curry and Draymond Green will need to hold the fort down this season, but it won’t be easy.

BetOnline LogoGolden State opened the season with two losses to solid teams. Facing the LA Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder, the Warriors were unable to capture victories. Golden State finally picked up a win Monday evening against the New Orleans Pelicans.

As for the Suns, they enter this game with a respectable 2-2 record. Phoenix last made the playoffs in 2010, where they were eliminated in the Western Conference Finals. It’s been many years of mediocrity for the Suns. Thankfully for Phoenix, they are only 18 wins away from surpassing their win total of 19 from last season.

In the early going, the Suns are on pace for a 41-41 record, which would be their best record since 2014.

Phoenix has some young and exciting talent, Devin Booker and Kelly Oubre are the leading scorers for the Suns, aged 23 and 24 respectively. The dynamic duo should provide discomfort to the defense of Golden State in this contest.
