Broncos/Jets Search for First Victory of Season on Thursday Night Football

Jerry Jeudy is 'Making Defenders Look Silly' at Broncos Camp

Another NFL week is upon us with Thursday Night Football.

While a Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets match up isn’t the most exciting game in the world, both teams have much to prove which in itself makes this game interesting.

Was Jets-Colts trade that netted Sam Darnold worth it?

Denver and New York both enter this game without a victory. Barring a tie, either the Broncos or Jets will earn their first victory Thursday night.

For the Jets, it’s been an ugly start to the season. In the basement of the AFC East, the Jets have allowed 94 points against in three games. That is the second-worst for points allowed in the AFC and fifth-worst in the NFL.

Focusing on the Broncos, they remain in the basement of the AFC West, although they have fared much better than the Jets. Denver’s offense has slipped over the past two weeks but should see a resurgence on Thursday.

Comparing the two teams, this is a game in favor of the Broncos. While Denver struggled last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Jets’ defense will not be as unforgiving, giving talents like Jerry Jeudy and Noah Fant the opportunity to do something big.

Daily Fantasy: The one Broncos player you need to start in NFL Week 1

Denver’s defense is one that allows a ton of passing yards, which may be the exact thing Sam Darnold needs. After running into some tough competition, Darnold needs an opportunity to let the pigskin fly. With that being said, the Jets’ offensive core as a whole isn’t that fierce, so it could be another game that New York struggles in.

Both teams are in search of their first victory. Will it be the winless Broncos or Jets on top Thursday night?
