With that being said, odds have already been released for next season. Yes, they are quite early, but at least it gives sports fans a glimmer of hope that everything will return to normal for next season.

Gonzaga and Virginia own the best odds to win the 2021 tournament. Granted, it’s a year from now, but the Bulldogs and Cavaliers have earned love from bookies.

Both clubs are listed at +900 to win the NCAA tournament. The Cavaliers last won the NCAA tournament in 2019, while the Bulldogs have never won the national championship.

Kansas and Michigan State are next in line, listed at +1000. The Jayhawks are the current #1 team in the nation, based on the AP polls from March 9th. Experts predicted the Jayhawks would make a deep run in this season’s tournament, which of course is canceled.

As for the Spartans, they were the top team in the Big 10 this season. If Michigan State were to win the NCAA tournament next season, it would be their first national title since 2000.

Dayton and San Diego State turned heads this season with their impressive stretch of wins. Unfortunately, the programs received flak as their records came in a conference that isn’t exactly elite. Dayton is listed at +2500 to win the tournament, as well as San Diego State. These teams were looking forward to proving their worth this season but will need to wait another year.
