It’s time for another big London derby on Wednesday when Chelsea hosts Arsenal. The Gunners won the first meeting between the two this season at home 3-1 but haven’t managed to notch three points at Stamford Bridge since 2011.
Bookmaker 10Bet believes that Arsenal’s misery at the Bridge will continue with the odds for an away win at 5.00. The home win is available with the odds at 1.74 and the odds for a draw are at 3.80.

Robin van Persie scored a famous hat trick in Arsenal’s last win away at Chelsea when the visitors came from behind twice to record a dominant 5-3 victory in the end. The Gunners haven’t really been close to another victory since then with a couple of goalless draws as their best result.
The winless run means that Arsenal last did the league double over Chelsea in 2003-04. With the Blues looking very tough to beat right now under Thomas Tuchel, the chances of success for Mikel Arteta’s men don’t seem very high on Wednesday either.
Tuchel has suffered only two defeats in 25 games in charge of Chelsea and the team has recorded 18 clean sheets, which is a spectacular achievement.
Arsenal are going through a rough stretch at the moment, but they have won back-to-back league outings and their away record is actually pretty impressive with no league defeats in five games. Arteta’s men have scored at least three goals three times during the streak.
Bukayo Saka seems to be growing with every game, and he already looks untouchable with the team often struggling on the pitch when he’s not out there. Saka scored the third goal in this season’s first meeting with Chelsea after Arteta made a bold move by fielding a very young side.
The youngsters have looked fearless on the pitch, and they have brought much-needed energy and creativity the side has lacked throughout the season, so it will be interesting to see how Arteta will approach this game. With Arsenal’s chances of European qualification very slim, he has a chance to send out an attack-minded team without worrying too much about potential negative consequences.
Beating Chelsea on the counter certainly looks impossible with Tuchel having worked wonders on the team’s defensive play. The Blues have conceded just 11 goals with him at the helm.
