Liverpool hosts Chelsea on Saturday in a huge matchup with a chance to make English top-flight history. Following wins over Norwich and Burnley, the Reds can become the first team ever to start four consecutive seasons in the division with three straight victories.

Liverpool’s form completely collapsed at the start of 2021 and the defeat against Chelsea was a part of a six-game losing run at home, but Klopp’s men bounced back in style and had an impressive finish to the campaign. The Reds are unbeaten in 12 league outings ahead of Chelsea’s visit winning 10 matches during the run.
Mohamed Salah has registered six goals and four assists during Liverpool’s streak and he’s expected to lead the team to victory again. The former Chelsea man needs only two more goals to become the second-ever African player to reach 100 goals in the Premier League.
At the back, all eyes are on Virgil van Dijk who will be tasked with keeping Lukaku quiet. The Dutchman is set for his 49th Anfield appearance in the league for Liverpool and he’s yet to lose a game helping the team to 43 victories and five draws.
