Danish powerhouse FC Copenhagen will start off the new league campaign on Sunday with a home match against AC Horsens. They have won 11 of 15 league outings in 2022. Will it be another three points on the board for the team on Sunday?
Copenhagen are massive favorites for the contest and they are expected to win in style. Bookmaker William Hill has the odds at 1.83 for Copenhagen to beat the one-goal handicap and at 3.20 for them to beat the minus-two handicap.

The Lions have won eight of the last 14 league titles in Denmark and most teams struggle against them. They will be very disappointed if they can’t beat a promoted side like Horsens.
Horsens spent five seasons in the top flight before getting relegated in 2021 and they have some experience at this level but starting off against the defending champions puts the team in a pretty bad spot.
Copenhagen are set to dominate the match and there likely won’t be many scoring chances for the visitors. They have to be very clinical with their opportunities to get something from the game.
Horsens were carried by a productive strike duo last season and it will be interesting to see if they can keep up their scoring form at a higher level. Casper Tengstedt and Anders Jacobsen combined for 25 league goals in 2021-22. The latter has a pretty decent record in the top flight as well with 56 goals and 27 assists tallied in 207 appearances.
Copenhagen were all about Pep Biel last season. The Spanish midfielder had a career year with 11 goals and five assists. He had previously managed just six goals in two seasons in the Danish Superliga, so it was a major breakthrough campaign for him.
Biel’s role could become even more important in the new season after Copenhagen sold Jens Stage to Werder Bremen. The 25-year-old had a very good scoring record from the midfield and his presence will definitely be missed.
Copenhagen are looking to keep up a superb head-to-head record in the meetings with Horsens. They have lost only two of their last 13 clashes and the run of results includes four wins over the last five games.
Horsens managed to win at Parken Stadium in 2020, but the home ground has generally been a real fortress for Copenhagen. They have suffered just two league defeats in 25 home outings since the start of 2021.
