The opening leg might have had just two goals, but it was a very entertaining affair and we should see something similar on Wednesday. Juve are unbeaten since Nov. 30, but they don’t keep a lot of clean sheets and Villareal boast a number of goal threats.

The Yellow Submarine has seven different players who have scored at least five times this season with Arnaut Danjuma at the head of the pack. The Dutch international is having a wonderful debut campaign for the club with 12 goals and four assists recorded across all competitions.

It’s also worth noting that Moreno has missed several weeks with a calf strain and his return would be a nice little boost for Villarreal if they can get him fit for the visit to Allianz Stadium. The Spain international has been among La Liga’s best scorers for a number of years and he’s notched 11 goals and four assists in 19 appearances this season.

Juventus have been sharing around the goals nicely as well and the addition of Vlahovic should help them become an elite team again.

The Old Lady struggled to keep up with the best teams in Serie A earlier in the campaign but a 15-game unbeaten run in the league has lifted them into title contention. There’s still plenty of work to be done with the gap at seven points with league leaders AC Milan, but manager Massimiliano Allegri has gotten things to click and Vlahovic’s goals could be the difference in the end.

The 22-year-old goal machine definitely has the ability to fire his team to European glory as well. Small details become decisive in the knockout stages and home form plays a very important role. Juventus have been very strong on home turf in the Champions League in recent years winning 10 of 11 outings since the start of 2019-20.
