Milan have blown a couple of great chances to pull away at the top lately as they played out back-to-back draws with Udinese and Salernitana who both sit in the bottom half of the table.

A 2-1 derby victory over Inter on Feb. 5 was supposed to give Milan a big push to start running away with the title, but it’s beginning to look like the Scudetto race will go right down the wire this season and we might even see a four-horse race.

This could easily end up another win-less outing for Milan because it’s very difficult to score against Napoli. They have conceded just 19 goals in 27 games this season and one of their 13 clean sheets came against the Rossoneri in their first clash of the season when Elif Elmas scored the lone goal of the contest at San Siro in December.

Napoli have an immense record in the match-up with just one loss in the last 14 league meetings. Milan beat them at their own place last season but it was their only home loss in the fixture since 2010.

Luciano Spalletti likes his team to keep things tight at the back, but Napoli are also a very versatile team in the final third with the ability to hurt teams from outside or inside the box. It’s led to five different players scoring at least five league goals this season.

The Napoli offense was a bit inconsistent in December and at the start of January, but they were forced to play without Victor Osimhen and he appears to be back to his best now after returning from a fractured cheekbone.

Osimhen has produced two goals and one assist in the four league games and he’ll be leading the line again on Sunday, which will give Milan plenty to think about. They will have to mark the Nigerian tightly but also need to pay attention to the likes of Lorenzo Insigne and Fabian Ruiz who both need very little time and space to produce a game-winning moment.
