Kane recently became only the third player to hit 200 goals in the Premier League and West Ham has been among his favorite opponents through the years. The Spurs talisman has netted 11 times against them, getting more goals in the league only against three other sides.

Adding to his tally on Sunday would be very important after Tottenham followed up their 1-0 triumph over Manchester City with back-to-back losses. The team had a horrible night at the office last weekend against Leicester in a 4-1 defeat and couldn’t bounce back in the Champions League either, suffering a 1-0 loss away to AC Milan.

2023 has been rough overall for Tottenham as there have been four defeats in seven Premier League outings. The team previously suffered as many losses in 22 games. The situation is made even more difficult by Antonio Conte’s health issues and the Spurs boss will once again sit out Sunday’s contest while trying to recover from gallbladder surgery.

West Ham has plenty of their own problems to worry about, but the team has finally found some consistency and will hope to stretch an unbeaten run across all competitions to five games.

There have been a lot of draws but David Moyes definitely can’t complain about having only one loss in 2023. The Hammers were very vulnerable pre-World Cup and it’s taken them a lot of time to start performing at their full potential, but it looks like Moyes has finally found the right buttons to push.

Chelsea failed to beat Moyes’ men last week and West Ham also snuck a draw against Newcastle prior to that. These are good results against two quality teams and should boost the confidence of the players ahead of Sunday’s big match.

Tottenham won this fixture 3-1 at home last season, but the most recent meetings have actually gone better for West Ham overall. They are without an away win against the Spurs for a while, but there has been only one loss in the last five head-to-head meetings in the league for the side from East London.
