The 24th round of Serie A action concludes Tuesday with the Turin derby between Juventus and Torino. Toro hasn’t beaten their neighbors since 2015 and should go all out to finally end the long drought.
Could we get an explosive first half as Juve will be desperate for the win as well? Bookmaker 10bet has the odds at 3.20 for over 1.5 first-half goals and at 9.50 for over 2.5 goals in the opening 45 minutes.

It’s been eight years since Torino last won the derby but they have been close to it in recent seasons. Only a late Dusan Vlahovic strike helped Juventus to victory in this season’s first derby, and across the last five meetings in total, there have been only draws or one-goal Juventus wins.
Torino has been a tough team to beat all season and there has been just two losses in their last 10 league outings. The defense tends to be leaky, but even with Andrea Belotti now in Rome, the team has a pretty consistent scoring record.
Juventus made a bad start to 2023 but have recovered with five wins from six games in all competitions, and they have performed at a high level at both ends of the pitch. The recent run of victories includes four clean sheets and the goals have been flowing as well.
Angel Di Maria alone has scored four goals across the last two games. Can he maintain his great run of form Tuesday? The Argentine star has had plenty of difficulties during his first year in Italy but the recent performances show that Di Maria might have finally found his feet on his new team.
Torino will also definitely have to deal with Vlahovic again. The Serbian forward has struggled for consistency this season, but he’s scored over 50 goals in Serie A since the start of 2020-21 and can decide a game in a blink of an eye.
Juventus last failed to score against Torino in 2008. There rarely seem to be blowout wins for them in the match-up but the Old Lady always seems to find just enough quality to get the better of Torino. If they can get the three points again on Tuesday, Juventus would find themselves seventh in the table and getting a top-four finish might not look impossible after all despite the team’s 15-point punishment for financial violations.
