Dota 2: Riyadh Masters 2023 | Who Can Prevent the Unstoppable Gaimin Gladiators?

Dota 2: Riyadh Masters 2023

The final major of the season has been and gone for Dota 2 fans, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty of excellent betting action to be had in the eSport. This week professional Dota 2 heads to the Riyadh Masters 2023 where the Gaimin Gladiators look to continue their impeccable run of form this year.

Having won five consecutive Tier 1 events this season, including the most recent Bali Major, the Gaimin Gladiators are undeniably the team to beat in Riyadh. The question is can anyone beat them, and if so, who will it be? With Team Liquid having come the closest this year, can they finally overthrow the Gladiators? Or will the Riyadh Masters again see a similar result?

ウィリアムヒルWe break down all the latest betting odds from bookmaker William Hill and outline the best bets to make on the Riyadh Masters 2023 this week.

Looking at the outright betting odds from William Hill ahead of the Riyadh Masters 2023, as expected the Gaimin Gladiators are leading the betting at 3.00 to win the tournament. Close behind them, Tundra Esports pays 4.00 before a big drop off back to Team Liquid at 8.00. Following them, there’s a tight race for the remaining betting favourites with PSG.LGD and BB Team sitting on 10.00 and 11.00 respectively.

Odds to make the final are similar with the Gaimin Gladiators at 1.50, Tundra Esports at 2.00 and Team Liquid at 3.75. PSG.LGD and Quest round out the five teams most likely to make the final paying 5.00 and 5.50.

The returns may not be the highest, but it’s hard to get away from yet another Gaimin Gladiators’ victory in Riyadh. The team has won five from five Tier 1 events this season, including all three majors, and both DreamLeague seasons. With that said, they’ve been less invincible in Tier 2 and 3 tournaments, finishing 2nd in two of the DPC WEU tours this year and third in two other events. However, the reality is, the Riyadh Masters 2023 is a Tier 1 tournament and the Gaimin Gladiators have been untouchable at this level the past few months.

Another excellent bet is on Team Liquid to make the final. They’ve done this in four of the past five events, including just 10 days ago at the Bali Major. While they are yet to find a way to defeat the Gaimin Gladiators, making their 8.00 odds to win the tournament feel justified, a bet on them to yet again finish runner-up has fantastic returns of 3.75. It may feel repetitive, but if history is anything to go by, this will be another Gaimin Gladiators vs. Team Liquid final with the former picking up more silverware in Riyadh.
