British boxing is alive and well with a scintillating lineup of bouts coming out of the 3Arena in Dublin this Saturday night. Headlining these clashes is a women’s super lightweight title fight between Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron that will see one boxer have their undefeated record tarnished for the first time.
Katie Taylor looks to continue her dominance as a two-weight world champion and win Chantelle Cameron’s belts from her. The home favourite will face her biggest challenge yet, however, as Cameron will be no easy beat in her favoured division. We break down all the latest odds from bookmaker William Hill and offer up our best bets ahead of this historic bout.

Despite Chantelle Cameron being the one who will be covered in belts when she makes her ring walk, it’s Katie Taylor who will be favoured by the bookies when this bout begins. The Irish boxer is paying a strong 1.53, with Cameron not far behind on 2.50.
Neither woman has particularly strong odds for a knockout, with Taylor at 11.00 and Cameron on 9.00. What the bookies see this coming down to is a decision, with the defending champion paying 3.25 and Taylor at 1.67 for a points win.

The reason why Katie Taylor is the favourite here is that despite being the challenger, she has plenty belts of her own. The 36-year-old currently holds the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO World Lightweight belts, courtesy of her 22-0-0 professional record. For this clash, she’ll be continuing to fight at a higher weight than usual, challenging for Cameron’s super lightweight belts.
We see this clash ending in a decision victory for Katie Taylor. It’s not the most lucrative bet at 1.67, but the odds are this way for a reason. Taylor is fast, fit, has the better ring IQ and the home crowd behind her. While Cameron might be bigger and have some real striking power, chances are that Taylor will simply outbox her rival and the judges’ decision will be a no brainer.
Expect Taylor to leverage all of her experience with a healthy dose of support from the home crowd and the judges to get this one done through a unanimous decision and become an undisputed two-division champion. The only other option would be a Cameron knockout – something she’s only done eight times before. While it would be a lucrative bet at 9.00, we simply don’t see it happening on Saturday.
