Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal meet up for the 193rd North London derby on Sunday with Spurs hoping to dent their neighbors’ title hopes.
Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Cristian Romero are seen as the likeliest players to be carded in the big derby with bookmaker William Hill having the odds at 1.83.

With them holding a five-point lead ahead of the rest, Arsenal have become the title favorites for the 2022-23 Premier League campaign, but they start a very challenging set of games on Sunday as meetings with both Manchester sides are also on the horizon. A loss of points would be a blow to the team’s momentum and the players’ confidence.
In recent seasons, the Gunners haven’t had much success visiting their neighbors, failing to win any of the past eight Premier League road games against Tottenham. Spurs have won the last three and could now defeat Arsenal in four consecutive league outings at home for the first time in history.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are looking to complete their first double over Tottenham since 2013-14. A big second half catapulted the team to a 3-1 victory in October and Mikel Arteta will be hoping for more of the same from his troops on Sunday.
Harry Kane scored the lone Spurs goal in the first North London derby of the season and has since then added three more derby goals to his tally. With a recent brace against Crystal Palace, Kane moved on to 46 London derby goals and only Jimmy Greaves (50) has more of them in English top-flight history.
Kane is having a very prolific season and he’s also just one goal short of matching Greaves’ all-time scoring record for Tottenham. Getting there against Arsenal would be very special, and Kane has a very good record against the Gunners with 14 goals in 18 career appearances.
Son Heung-min also has a good recent history against Arsenal with eight goal involvements in the past seven league meetings. He ended an eight-game scoring drought in the Premier League against Palace and will try to start a goal streak on Sunday after having a disappointing campaign so far.
Kane has crushed it with 15 goals in 18 Premier League games, but Son has netted just four times and it’s safe to say that his poor goal-scoring form is the main reason why Tottenham are 11 points adrift from Arsenal. A great derby performance could finally ignite Son’s season.
