Is there anything more delightful than watching first round knockout specialists in the UFC heavyweight division? Think Tai Tuivasa, Sergei Pavlovich… and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. While Rozenstruik’s success rate may not be as high as he’d like, every time he steps into the Octagon, the Surinamese behemoth is certainly entertaining.
With Rozenstruik taking on Jailton Almeida as the main event of UFC Fight Night this weekend, that’s exactly what fans can expect: entertainment. However, there’s also plenty of excellent betting to make on mixed martial arts this weekend as we outline the best bets to make with bookmaker William Hill.

There’s one very important piece of information to know ahead of this fight. Neither man has ever gone the distance in the UFC and won. In essence, they either finish their opponent or get dominated. Rozenstruik has been knocked out twice and lost two decisions while Almeida has yet to lose since his UFC debut last year.
A note on the styles of each fighter. Rozenstruik is an out and out striker with immense power. The 35-year-old has a packed highlights reel of knockouts and has been known to finish opponents with his jab alone. His defense leaves plenty to be desired as does his ground game. Out of the blocks though and in a slug fest, back Rozenstruik.
For Almeida, he’s far more comfortable on the mat. In fact, each of his four UFC wins so far have been finishes on the ground—two submissions and two ground and pounds. A look at his pre-UFC record shows submission after submission as well.

It’s tough to see this one going past the first round. Rozenstruik has seven first round wins across his MMA career (plus two losses in the first) while Almeida has 13 first round wins in his career with one early loss. The way this plays out is likely Rozenstruik comes out swinging and Almeida tries to avoid damage while waiting for his opportunity to land a take-down and submission.
Accordingly, the best bet is an Almeida round one win at 1.91. Those looking for a little more return however, could spin the wheel and bet that Rozenstruik can land a power punch before getting taken down, winning in round one for 13.00.
