The PDC heads to Bahrain this week, where the world’s best darts players will fight it out in the Bahrain Darts Masters. While the full field haven’t opted to attend this event, there’s still some serious star power on show in the Middle East for the two-day event.
Recent World Darts Champion Luke Humphries headlines the tournament, as does three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen. However, all eyes will be on 16-year-old Luke Littler, who lit the world up this January with his incredible run to the World Darts Championship final. The teen is in action for the first time since then, with fans eagerly waiting to see if he can do it again in Bahrain.
Bookmaker William Hill has all the latest betting odds as we outline the best bets to make on this event before the first dart is thrown on Thursday.

Outright betting odds have Luke Humphries as the betting favourite, and by a reasonable margin as well. Bookmaker William Hill has the Englishman at 3.25, well ahead of the Netherland’s Michael van Gerwen, who is second favourite at 4.33. The man of the hour, Luke Littler, sits at third favourite with a pay out of 5.00 should he win. Rounding out the top five betting favourites are Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith, paying 7.00 and 8.50 respectively.
Luke Humphries has now won three major darts events in a row. The 28-year-old began his recent hot streak at the PDC Grand Slam of Darts, beating James Wade to win the title. Next, he claimed the Players Championship with a tight victory over van Gerwen, before most recently crushing the dreams of Littler in the Darts World Championship final. Can he go one more here in Bahrain?
We say it’s unlikely that Humphries adds another to his tally this week. Simply put, it’s challenging to keep such a high level for such a long time. Even the great Phil Taylor would lose tournaments, and Humphries is far, far from being on the same echelon as the GOAT.
With Humphries likely to stumble, this opens the door for another player to step in and claim the title. While the fairytale of Littler doing so would be excellent, the likelihood is that his newfound stardom will make it tough for the 16-year-old to replicate such results in a hurry.
Instead, we say it will be Gerwyn Price, who was lighting the darts world on fire at times last year. He’s fallen into the shadows somewhat in recent months, but has done well in Bahrain in the past and should go all the way for the title this time.
